CO-ANGLER BOAT OPERATION: Co-Anglers are allowed to drive boats only in cases of emergency or with permission from tournament officials with exception of loading and unloading boats from trailers. CO-ANGLER GPS: Co-Anglers are not allowed to carry GPS systems. 48. Unless otherwise specified, all official times are specific to local host community. PROTEST AND REPORTING PROCEDURE: ALL PROTESTS MUST BE BROUGHT TO THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTORS ATTENTION VIA VERBAL NOTIFICATION AND THEN SUBMIT A WRITTEN PROTEST WITHIN THIRTY (30) MINUTES OF THE LAST FLIGHT CHECK-IN TO THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR OR DESIGNATED TOURNAMENT OFFICIAL. Boats must be properly secured and stationary. If a member, I am currently in good standing with Wild West Bass Youth Series. An electric trolling motor may be used for slow maneuvering. MEDIA: All official contestants of an event are required to cooperate with the media personnel that covers the event. Anglers who do not have a jersey or refuse to wear a WWBT provided jersey must wear at the minimum a collared polo shirt. ANGLER CODE OF CONDUCT AND SPORTSMANSHIP: Contestants participating in any WWBT event shall abide by this code of conduct and the applicable rules for the event in which they are participating. All anglers who elect to participate in Wild West Bass Youth Series -sanctioned tournaments will be required to execute a Participation Agreement containing the rules and regulations, code of conduct, and tournament series specific content such as wrapped boat and uniform guidelines. Chemical substance addiction or abuse, conviction of a felony or crimes involving moral turpitude or other conduct reflecting unfavorably upon efforts to promote safety, sportsmanship, fair competition and compliance with tournament rules shall be grounds for rejecting any application for participation and/or for disqualification after circumstances are reviewed by the Tournament Director. I also recognize that WILD WEST BASS YOUTH SERIES cannot guarantee anglers will always stay at least six (6) feet apart due to the inherent nature of angling and related educational events. 11 PRIZES: Prizes will be awarded after the tournament. Boat numbers will be collected at each check-in. $1,200. Contestants will not argue, yell, demean, use profanity, or be disrespectful in any way toward this ruling. 65. Anycontestant who has not contacted the WWBT Tournament Director 15 minutes after theclosing of the posted on-site registration, may be disqualified from participating in the tournament and his/her entry fee forfeited. 38. A competitor is required to comply, even if he already has a personal camera mounted in his boat. Any contestant(s) deemed under the influence by the tournament director may be disqualified. WWBT personnel must be granted access and be able to board any contestants boat at will. 20. IF mandate will NOT allow any gatherings of people, we may have to cancel the tournament. Tournament officials have the right to delay, shorten or cancel the start of an official tournament day because of bad weather or other factors that would endanger the safety of the contestants. Contestants may be allowed to compete under appeal for penalties assessed until a final ruling by Appeals Committee. RULES VIOLATIONS AND APPEALS COMMITTEE: An appeals committee will be established by WWBT which shall be comprised of the tournament director and a minimum of 4 contestants from the advisory board in the event in question. Pro/Am | Wild West Bass Trail The Tournament Director, at his/her sole discretion, may reassign partners prior to the morning take off. In addition to adhering to the Rules and Code of Conduct, to ensure effective and timely communication between Wild West Bass Youth Series and the anglers, I understand that I am required to provide Wild West Bass Youth Series with a current e-mail address. Contestants renting boat slips may launch boats and proceed immediately to slip location. Non-Member $50 (Per Angler/ Event), Member of WWBYS $37.50 (Per Angler/ Event). MUST PRESENT ALL LEGAL FISH: after contestants check in at the official checkpoint they MUST present all LEGAL fish in their possession to a tournament official to be counted, measured and weighed. Only water open to all public fishing will be considered tournament waters. Anglers will be notified of any known rules infractions at the moment they are discovered or as soon as they are ruled upon by the tournament director. RESTROOM BREAK: In the event of a needed restroom break partners are allowed to leave the boat upon which all fishing must cease until partners are back together in the boat. 14 NO INFO RULE: WWBT PRO/AMS HAVE A NO INFO RULE AND A STRICT OFF-LIMITS PERIOD.
